Sun Java System Directory Server Enterprise Edition (DSEE) 6: Maintenance and Operations コースでは、日常的な保守作業やトラブルシューティング、サーバーの監視や調整、マルチマスタの作成や管理など、DSEE 6 の運用管理に必要な作業を紹介します。実習では DSEE 6 に付属するツールを使用して、ディレクトリデータの検索や変更、データのエクスポートやインポート、サーバーの起動や停止、トラブルシューティングなど様々な作業を行います。また、サーバーのバージョンのアップデートやマルチマスタの作成やレプリケーションの設定、パフォーマンスチューニングなどについても学びます。このコースは DSEE 6 に関連した、メンテナンスとオペレーションを理解することを第一に作られております。ディレクトリサーバーの配備計画やデザインに関しては DIR-2217「Sun Java Systemディレクトリサービス」コースを参照してください。
