本コースではビジネスニーズに重点をおき、Identity Managerの配備という観点からプロダクトのコンセプトと各機能を紹介します。Identity Managerの配備、ロールの定義、委任管理、リソースの管理、アカウントの調整、ユーザーオブジェクト等を必要に応じカストマイズする方法について、また、XPRESS、フォーム、ルール、プロビジョニング、ワークフローなどのケーススタディによる実装を経験することもできます。企業内コンピューターシステムが複雑化するにつれ、経営陣がその活動状況を把握することが困難になってきているなか、内部状況の把握の義務化が社会的に求められてきています。国内でも、個人情報保護法を始め、US Sarbanse-Oxley法(SOX法)とほぼ同義の活動把握義務を、企業および経営陣が遂行可能なシステムを構築する必要があります。アイデンティティ・ソリューション・プロダクトである、Identity Managerは企業内ネットワークのここのシステムに分散したアイデンティティ情報(アカウント情報）を既存のシステムの状態の変更を最小限にとどめつつ、集中的な管理をおこなうためのプロダクトです。Identity Managerは、UNIX, LDAP, Windows, MS Active Direcotry, RDBMS, およびカスタムアプリケーション等のアカウント情報に関する管理ライフサイクルや入社、属性変更、認可、失効、退社、監査、レポーティング等のマネージメントフロー、マネージメントロジックを集約して管理できるだけでなく、独自の高レベルな言語を用いてカストマイズすることができます。本コースでは、 Identity Managerの基本的なしくみ、インストレーション、コンフィギュレーション、ビジネスプロセスのカストマイズとそれを開発するためのプログラミング言語 XPRESS、および、ビジネス・プロセス・エディターの使用法、リソース・アダプターの設定などについてい学びます。
