本コースの受講前提となる"Sun Java System Identity Manager: Deployment Fundamentals (IDM-345)"では配備シナリオの４つのフェーズに関し習得します。
本コースでは、第３のフェーズである、Active Directoryインスタンス、人事部門のフィードデータ、LDAPディレクトリ、契約者SQLデータベース、Solarisオペレーティングシステムの間でのActive Syncによる同期の方法を習得と、第４のフェーズである、従業員や契約者が自分自身でリソース資源の申請やアカウント申請を行うためのエンドユーザーセルフサービスを構築します。また、これらを完了するために必要なフォーム、ルール、ワークフローのカスタマイズを行います。
